twitter can increase your intelligence

so i started using twitter a couple of weeks ago because of an instructor that i want to follow at unlv. i saw this and thought it was pretty interesting: using twitter inreases intelligence art of seeing the divine blog

i have to admit, twitter can get pretty addicting. i'm beginning to like it better than facebook since facebook changed their layout again.

The entertaining and friendly type. They are especially attuned to pleasure and beauty and like to fill their surroundings with soft fabrics, bright colors and sweet smells. They live in the present moment and don´t like to plan ahead - they are always in risk of exhausting themselves.

spring is here!

last year, i had the gardeners plant some fruit trees in the back yard. throughout the winter, all the leaves fell from the trees and since it has been really cold here in vegas, i never stepped out of the back door. last week, i opened the blinds (first time in like 3 months) and was surprised to see pretty pink flowers and little sprouts from the plum tree! i wonder if i'll get any fruits this summer...

finally after 12 years...

we have another wedding to plan for the hong family! congrats to pearl & tjoson...engaged 3/2/09. boy was it hard to keep this one from pearl! after many flights across the country, they will be together in july...all the way in richmond, va. congrats to pearl for making her match for internship in va! what perfect timing to find out on the day she gets proposed that she'll be there with tjoson for the next year! i'm sad to know pearl will be so far away, but happy that she will not have to take those horrible flights with six different transfers just to see tjoson for a few days. sooooo happy for both of you! you guys better come back often to visit!

smith & wollensky & a wedding to plan...

on friday night, my baby brother proposed to his girlfriend! and she said yes!!! they were on their way to vegas and my brother decided to propose to his girlfriend at the airport! i was excited to pick them up from mc carren's because i would be the first to congratulate them! even though i knew ken was planning to propose soon, i didn't know until the night before that he was going to do it here. i was on the edge of my seat when i was waiting at the airport for them to come out with good news. we had plans already to have dinner at smith & wollensky's with shan's cousins and it was a great restaurant to celebrate the engagement. congrats ken & shan! i'm so happy for you guys! here are some pictures from dinner:
